trendwatching: Ads Everywhere and Is Anyone Commenting?
In this trendwatching podcast, Cathi Bond has a great (or horrifying) story on ever-encroaching ads: ads stretched out on the land along the flight path of airplanes! Is it Blade Runner-esque? A nightmare? Or both? Check it out at ad-air
Nora Young talks a bit about her new CBC show, Spark. She’s happy with the show, but hopes that more people will comment at the blog. How participatory is participatory media?
If you’re interested, you can listen to the entire show (with Creative Commons music) at the blog, or subscribe to the podcast here. Thanks for checking it out!

What blog?
Nora has a blog?
I don’t see any blog. Please point it out.
All I see is a CBC website for the show.

Don’t see a blog,
I do see a list of things sent out the ether to tell us
of upcoming espisodes on a show we might have
caught if we got home early from the pub that
day.
And Spark is a 4 month show and hasn’t had a time to
accumulate readers.
And warum ist is all in maudit anglaise? Where’s the
internationalism, where’s the pop music, where’s the
incisive commentary that pop-slut Ghomeshi can’t do.
When is Nora’s father Neil Young, going to put out
a new album with her on it?

Hi Allan,
Yeah, not my personal blog (which is at crispermachine.blogspot.com, but I never update it any more; I don’t have time, unfortunately) The CBC show’s blog is at cbc.ca/spark
cheers, ny
